Features

Whozup’s booking station has been put together with the benefit of our understanding of the industry. We are well up to the task of getting things going for you and getting word out to your fans.

Venues, agents and managers need the ability to see the availability of a venue and an act at the same time in side-by-side calendars. They need a service which promotes their gigs across all platforms. These are just some of the cutting-edge features of Whozup. It’s a game changer. Are you ready to up your game?

Gig Booking

Management made easy

The Process

  1. 1
The venue, agent or manager selects the venue and act on the booking station
  2. 2
Selecting a date opens the booking form, which will show the venue address and contact details
  3. 3
Complete the booking details, including: fees, times, sets, PA requirements, notes and terms and conditions. This forms the gig worksheet and contract
  4. 4
Once this is sent, the act receives a notification via the Whozup app on their smartphone
  5. 5
The act can see a list of booking requests and can respond by either accepting, declining or selecting hold and negotiate to discuss gig specifics before accepting
  6. 6
The system automatically chooses and notifies the available players from the act player roster. Players then accept, decline or hold and negotiate

Once the gig is accepted, Whozup automatically:

  • Updates the venue, agent / manager, act and entertainer calendars
  • Updates the gig guides for venues, agents/managers, acts, and entertainers on the Whozup profile pages, and website
  • Creates gig social media posts for the venue, agent / manager, act and entertainers
  • Places the gig in the Whozup live gig guide app

Automated Invoicing and

Financial Reporting

Invoice creation and checking can be one of the most time-consuming aspects of running any business! Whozup makes that pain go away! Yes - it really does! With Whozup, you can be assured that only gigs that are actually completed will appear on any invoice!

Whozup also gives all users full financial reporting including: income, sales tax, and outstanding/paid invoices all on one easy to read dashboard. If you are a venue, instantly see your entertainment spend and return on investment for your acts!

Musicians, DJs and Entertainers

If you’re a busy entertainer, you are most likely booked by a number of venues, agents or even direct bookings. The Whozup automated invoicing system automatically creates and batches invoices either weekly, fortnightly or monthly to each agent / venue, itemising each gig that you have booked as a line item. Alternatively, you can choose to send a one-off invoice for an individually booked gig. If you manage an act, you will receive automated batched weekly, fortnightly or monthly invoices from your players - you choose the frequency and Whozup does the rest!

Agents and Managers

If you’re an even busier agent, you are most likely invoicing multiple venues and receiving invoices from even more entertainers. This means hours and hours of manual checking at the end of each month of invoices and calendars to ensure that the gigs done are actually what has been invoiced. With Whozup all of this goes away and you get back hours and hours in your week.

Automated Gig Marketing

Get people back to venues to enjoy live entertainment, increase venue revenue and in return create greater capacity for venues to offer live music. That's the ticket! Whozup is a big win for everyone. We'll make it happen.

Simply connect your Whozup profile to your social media profiles and let Whozup do the rest!

The Whozup platform automatically pushes gig information to the venue, agent, and entertainer's social media platforms, their Whozup profile pages, website gig guides, and to the Whozup Live gig guide app.

Whozup Live

The Whozup live gig guide app will allow music fans to favourite acts and venues or search for live music by genre, lineup, distance, day of the week, even by artists and song titles.

Once they have found a gig, a music fan can RSVP and share this gig on their social platforms and using our Uber integration, book an Uber to get them to the gig.

Venues and suppliers will also have the ability to push out offers, such as meal or drink deals to further entice fans back to venues.

Media-rich Profile Pages

The Whozup profile page is the shop front for your entertainment business. Whether you are an entertainer (musician, DJ, magician, quiz master, dancer, stilt walker, fire twirler, human cannonball, etc.), venue, agent, or manager, the Whozup profile page is the perfect way to showcase the key elements of your business.

Instant Messaging

A big driver when creating the Whozup platform was to have one system to manage your entire business - this of course meant having instant messaging integrated into the platform.

Users can search for and connect to any other Whozup members and send them messages directly within the platform.

When you create an act within Whozup, our integrated messaging system will automatically create a chat group for your act, meaning you can instantly message all members without any additional work.
